Q: What initially drew you to functional fitness and 312 Fortitude, and what keeps you coming back?
A: “Originally, Lucas convinced me to give it a go. Now, it’s definitely the people that keep me coming back.”
Q: Can you share a highlight or memorable achievement from your time at 312 Fortitude?
A: “Competing at my first Nationals last month—it was such an epic experience.”
Q: What’s your favorite movement or exercise, and what do you love about it?
A: “Handstand walks.”
Q: How do you maintain your motivation and enthusiasm for functional fitness?
A: “I’ve only been doing it for about a year, but I’ve really enjoyed setting goals and aiming for new PBs.”
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time outside of the gym?
A: “Complaining to my flatmates about how sore I am from CrossFit.”
Q: Do you have a favorite book, movie, or TV series/show that you would recommend?
A: “Lord of the Rings.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
A: “Alaska—because of the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel.”
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting their functional fitness journey, what would it be?
A: “Don’t be afraid to show up and give it a go. Everyone remembers their first time turning up and not being able to do any of the movements.”
