Sumit is the definition of quiet consistency. Heās been a loyal 5:30pm regular for a long time nowārain or shine, youāll find him turning up and putting in the work. Week by week, heās been steadily building strength, and it shows in his lifts. Never loud or flashy, Sumitās progress is a result of pure consistency, focus, and dedication. Itās time we gave him the recognition he truly deserves! š
Q: What initially drew you to functional fitness and 312 Fortitude, and what keeps you coming back?
A:I was tired of the same old gym routine and needed something more challenging. CrossFit felt like the perfect fitābut 312 Fortitude took it to another level. The coaches genuinely care about your progress. The energy is tough but motivating, and I can see myself getting better every week.
Q: Can you share a highlight or memorable achievement from your time at 312 Fortitude?
A:Finally hitting my first toes-to-bar after months of working on it! That moment felt so rewarding, especially with the support from the coaches behind me.
Q: Whatās your favorite movement or exercise, and what do you love about it?
A: Definitely the snatch. Itās tough, but I love how it combines strength, speed, and technique. Thereās always something new to work on.
Q: How do you maintain your motivation and enthusiasm for functional fitness?
A: The community helps heapsābeing around people who push you keeps you going. Setting small goals and learning new techniques always keeps things exciting.
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time outside of the gym?
A: I love getting outdoorsāhiking, exploring new spots. Iām also a big fan of binge-watching shows.
Q: Do you have a favorite book, movie, or TV series/show that you would recommend?
A:The Dark Knight is my all-time favorite movieāgreat action and characters. For a series, Iād recommend Game of Thrones (minus the last two seasons).
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
A: Spaināfor the history, culture, and of course, the food!
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting their functional fitness journey, what would it be?
A: Focus on your own path. Donāt rush itākeep showing up, work on the basics, and celebrate the small wins along the way.
