Why "312"?
ONEHUNGA’S LOCAL FUNCTIONAL FITNESS GYM
At the heart of Onehunga, the number 312 runs deeper than just a sequence of digits—it’s a symbol of our community’s journey. Inspired by the local bus route that connects our neighborhood, “312” represents the paths we travel every day, both literally and metaphorically.
Choosing “312” for our gym was about embracing and celebrating this sense of journey and connection. It’s a nod to our roots in Onehunga, a place we’re proud to call home and a reminder that no matter where we’re going, we’re in it together. “312 Fortitude” isn’t just a name; it’s a commitment to strength, resilience, and community, all rolled into one.
Join us at 312 Fortitude, where every workout, every challenge, and every triumph is a step on our shared path to better health, stronger bonds, and a more connected Onehunga.
NOT A FAN OF TRADITIONAL GYMS? US TOO!
Just like you, we’re not a fan of machines, repetitive workouts, and monotonous training sessions—which is why we designed all our classes to not only do away with bulky gym equipment, but also always be unpredictable and fun. Our goal is to give you something new to look forward to every single session.

Favourite Workout Song: RASPUTIN. But seriously - variety is key! Strength work - anything with good base beat, cardio - hard and fast house, skill work - particular artist study or cheesy 90's playlist. I could go on!
Favourite Schnacks:Boring but LOVE a boiled egg.
Favourite Movement: An impeccable static handstand hold makes my day!
Skite about your PBs/ CrossFit or Athletic Achievements: Ex-gymast here so honestly the thing which makes me happiest is training smart to suit my body and therefore not getting any significant injuries in the last five years (touch wood).
